Gladiolus 'Passos'

Talk about a showstopper! Gladiolus 'Passos' stops you in your tracks when it blooms from mid to late summer. The exotic flowers are a rich, velvety purple with a splash of red at the centre and white, purple-streaked edges. A real work of art! Gladiolus 'Passos' is perfect for threading through a border to add striking, vertical accents. Whatever you do, plant plenty of spares for the vase—you’ll be dying to gaze at these violet purple gems both indoors and out!  

With a flowering period of a couple of weeks, we recommend staggering the planting of Gladiolus 'Passos' to extend the glory for as long as possible, which means planting a few corms every few weeks throughout April and May. Make sure you choose a sunny, well-draining spot and give a dose of tomato feed when the shoots first appear to turbo-boost flowering! Continue with this every couple of weeks until the flowers fade.
