$0.89The Story
Oxalis deppei 'Iron Cross' gets its name from the cross pattern on the four velvety leaves that have given the plant various nicknames associated with the Shamrock. Itβs been called a False Shamrock and the Good Luck Plant or just Lucky Clovers among others. The oxalis does have similar shaped almost heart-shaped leaves but the cross that circles the centre of the group of leaves is what really makes this plant stand out!
A deep maroon, it turns the leaves of the Oxalis deppei 'Iron Cross' into a very decorative part of the plant. Then add into the equation the dainty five-petalled deep pink flowers that shoot out from the plant on long thin stems and you will realise it was indeed good luck that you discovered this plant.
