Hyacinth 'Snow Crystal'

Prepare to be captivated by a little ice-cool magic thanks to Hyacinth 'Snow Crystal'. Sometimes purity is what is called for, and in this case the snow-white flowers are all that’s needed for a beautiful and elegant display. This double-flowered form is known for its exceptional perfume, making it a superb choice for forcing indoors, or growing in containers near doorways and pathways. Hyacinth 'Snow Crystal's blooms are beautifully shaped, its reflexed petals turning outwards and grouped in a dense cluster to create a perfect snowball.  

The small stature of Hyacinth 'Snow Crystal', rarely taller than 20cm, gives it added dainty charm, and makes it great for a container display. Try it in a white wicker basket for a harmonious look full of country cottage charm, or in a glazed ceramic pot in a dark colour for a stunning  and modern contrast. You could also make some beautiful spring containers outdoors on your patio or windowsills by mixing this Hyacinth with violas, dainty spring bulbs such as Scilla, Chinodoxa or Iris reticulata, and variegated trailing ivy.
